Move. Rest. Listen.
Gentle mobility, walking, water and individual spa care. Time to move and the freedom to pause.

Body, Mind & Spirit
Seven days among vineyards, shared tables and moments of stillness. A journey to meet the Douro — and make room for yourself.
AT YOUR OWN PACE
There are places we understand better when we stop trying to see everything.
In the Douro, the vineyard holds the work of generations. The river gives continuity to the landscape. Around a table, time takes on the shape of a conversation. This journey begins with that way of being in a place.
The journey brings wine and cooking together with gentle movement, creative work and time for individual care. Each encounter has room to unfold; each pause is part of the journey.
WHERE WE STAY
Our home in the valley.
At Quinta de Vale Abraão in Samodães, a 19th-century manor between the river and the vineyards. Hospitality is part of the experience, from room to garden and kitchen to spa.

Rooms, suites and villas bring contemporary comfort together with the materials and landscape of the Douro. Your accommodation is chosen around the way you travel.

A heated indoor pool, treatment rooms and movement spaces make room for rest. Spa experiences are selected with the house team around your preferences.

Herbs, aromas and seasonal ingredients connect the kitchen with the garden. A place to discover what grows around us and recognise those flavours at the table.
Explore this space ↗In the Open Kitchen, cooking becomes part of the conversation. Portuguese Kitchen Tales brings together the garden, Portuguese cooking and lunch; Vale de Abraão continues that connection with the region. In summer, Summer Garden takes the table outdoors.

The Wine Library invites you to discover regional wines and stories without leaving the house. Conversations and tastings connect grape varieties, landscapes and the life of each wine.

At the heart of this journey is the time you give yourself. Landscape, food and movement invite you to find your own pace.
Experience this rhythm, day by day ↓Gentle mobility, walking, water and individual spa care. Time to move and the freedom to pause.
The aroma of a herb, the texture of clay, a new gesture in the kitchen. Give your attention to what is here.
A quiet forest, an open landscape, a conversation around a table. Moments with space to mean something.
Time to care for yourself and enjoy what is around you.

A NOTE FROM VICTOR
Being around a table is part of who I am. Sharing encounters, getting to know the people behind what we taste and creating memories with friends give meaning to the journeys I design.
In the Douro, I want to make room for another way of being: walking without rushing, learning with our hands, listening to the place and finding pleasure in the pauses. Wine and food remain part of the journey, alongside care for our own time.
Before we travel, I want to get to know you. To understand what you are looking for, how you like to spend your days and what you hope to take home. That conversation is where a meaningful journey begins.
